CoDiMa training plans for early 2020

We are organising two events in January-February 2020: The workshop “Tools for Discrete Computational Mathematics” (21-23 January 2020, University of Essex – Colchester Campus) Software Carpentry training on SageMath (20-21 February, Lancaster University)

GAP 4.10.2 release

GAP 4.10.2 has been released in June 2019 and can be downloaded from the GAP website here. In addition to updates in the core GAP system, it contains 145 packages, including updated versions of 55 packages from GAP 4.10.1 distribution. A new package redistributed with GAP is MonoidalCategories by Mohamed Barakat, Sebastian Gutsche and Sebastian GAP 4.10.2 release

GAP training events in Summer 2017

We will run two additional GAP tutorials in the UK this summer: GAP tutorial as a part of the Summer School on Finite Geometry in Brighton on 26th-30th June 2017. GAP tutorial on August 13th-14th as a satellite event to the Groups St Andrews 2017 in Birmingham. It has independent registration from Groups St Andrews. Computational Mathematics with Jupyter

Jointly with the Horizon 2020 OpenDreamKit project, we have organised the workshop “Computational Mathematics with Jupyter”, which took place at the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences in Edinburgh on 16-20 January 2017. Software Carpentry lesson on GAP
